See you at the EL track this Tuesday at 5:30pm. Be ready for your first workout. We will have some organizational time and instruction to get everyone organized the first night. Do not forget to bring warm ups to throw on afterwards, it still gets cools afterwards and bring your gatorade or water bottle.

Maine Ladies Run Boston 20 April 2008

PATTY’S RACE

PATTY’S RACE The Patricia Lynn Corbin Memorial Walk/Run “When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure”

                                                                                                                       

 

Patty Lynn was a 17 year old junior at Lee Academy when she

was killed in an automobile accident on May 8, 2002, while

returning home from an after school appointment. Since

last year’s Patty’s Race, 2 schoolmates of hers have been

killed, both by roadside bombs while serving in Iraq. In

Patty’s memory, this year, one third of the profits from

Patty’s race will be donated to the scholarship at Lee Academy

of Sgt Joel House and one third to Sgt Blair Emery’s.

Both walkers and runners welcomed.   START TIME: Sunday May 4, 2008, 1:00 pm, Lee Academy, Lee Maine RACE DAY REGISTRATION:  11:00 am; Pre-Registration form below.                             

                                             

COURSE: 5K, beautiful woods trails, dirt roads and some pavement.

FACILITIES: Lee Academy gym, bathroom/changing rooms, water stations.
