5k Trail Run On Sunday, November 19 the Skyline Farms and Walk will take place at Skyline Farms in North Yarmouth. The race is being organized as a benefit to help Mary Gray of North Yarmouth realize her dream of taking her own horse to the 2008 Paralympic World Driving Championships. Mary is a 4-Time member of Team USA, having represented the United States in four Wrold Driving Championships, and having won an individual Gold and 2 Team Bronze Medals.
The race will take place at Skyline Farms over trails and dirt roads, and awards will be given for the best overall Men's and Women's times, as well as in the usual age groups. There is also a 1k Children's Fun Run starting at 11:30, and a 1k Trail Run for Special Olympic Athletes beginning at 12:00. The 5k Race starts at 12:30.
Cost of the 5k run is $15, and $10 for the other races.
Sky LIne Farms is located on The Lane, a dirt road off of Rts. 9 and 115 in the Village of North Yarmouth.
