Come celebrate National Trails Day on Saturday June 2nd at the North end of the Hannaford Brothers parking lot in Gardiner.
Each year students, staff, and community members "run tobacco out of town" to promote the Kennebec River Rail Trail as a healthy place to be active, pledge to be tobacco free for the rest of our lives, and to promote running and physical activity as a great way to stay healthy and happy.
The race is open to all youth ages 0-19. The race is an out and back course. The race will run half a mile from the parking lot, runners will turn around and run back down the scenic Kennebec River Rail Trail. Preregister by downloading and printing the registration attached below. Participants can register for the race at 7:00am the day of the race.
If you are interested in helping with race or if you have any questions please call race director Anthony Anderson at 582-0936 or email aanderson@msad11.org
