Motion: Chuck motioned and Emily seconded for MECTA to purchase a 16lb shot put.

Vote: Unanimous

Cheryl questioned the draftee process for 2007 and asked if Chris Supple was still handling the draft and if so when does his process start. 

Assuming Chris is going to continue with the draft the draft will likely start in April.

We will need to find another location for the Regional meet as we can not use the South Portland facility.

Chuck Suggested we discuss the dates for the meets at the February meeting.  His suggestion is for the following dates:

Matt has put an extensive amount of time into reviewing and making recommendations for the MECTA rules.  He will be sending them out for final review (last sent in October).  The rules will be voted on next meeting.  Captains should review these rules prior to the February meeting and supply and necessary input.

Next meeting: February 21st, 5:30 UNUM
