Report from the Sunday Morning Pineland Farm Runners

(This is re-printed from the Pineland Farm e-mail list. Perhaps some of you might like to join this group?)

Hi all,

Congrats to all the finishers at yesterday's race and many thanks to all the volunteers who braved the cold to be out on the course for us. We had 6 list members place in their age groups yesterday:  Phil D, Jim T, Dora R, Ellie T, Vicky B, and Kim W.

Next Sunday we'll run the roads at Pineland starting at 7:30, various distances.  Meet in Pownal Hall lot.

A few items of note that have slipped under my radar.  (There's nothing like a local race to catch up on all the scuttle.)

List member Phil Dirusso  ran a smokin'  2:50:38 at Hartford this fall!

List member Kim White completed the Goofy at Disney this January which is a 1/2 marathon on Saturday and a marathon on Sunday!

List member Kim Williams PR'ed again at the 200m distance in her most recent indoor meet!

List member Nancy Kneeland won the MTC Handicap race last month by predicting her 5k finishing time within 1 second! (See Photo above)
List member Dottie Michaud was in attendance yesterday, is healthy and on the comback trail looking for a good year.  She'll be training for Sugarloaf (marathon) so we should get to see her soon at Pineland.

List member Betsy Barrett took a tumble on the Glouceter Hill section of trail at Pineland while skiing and will need to undergo surgery to repair some torn ligaments. We'll all be praying for you and if you're reading email, Betsy, let us know when the surgery is scheduled.

Have a great week, all, and stay warm.

Maureen
