Poland High School Road Race (getting out the word)

Poland High School to hold Road Race :

It is always interesting to see how a race committee selects which media they use to get the word out about their event.  As of Oct 4th, The Lewiston  Sun-Journal (Androscoggin County & Oxford County) and the Sub5 Web site (Penobscot County) being the only outside media being used.  I am sure that the Poland/Mechanic Fall/Minot school system has a good network to get the word out also.

Run for the Knights 5K, at Poland Regional High School.  Registration at 7:00 AM, race starts at 9:00 AM.  Race Application

 

Well, you can also add this blog as a form of media. All the information which has been posted was not requested to be posted by the race committee. Not at all sure the number of runners this blog will reach before Sat the 6 of Oct.  The race information looks as if there will be no age group award but there might be an award for perhaps the first male & female finsihers.  You might say the I am in the Dark about the Light for Knight 5K.
