Despite the definite lack of spring flowers and sunshine, runners and walkers enjoyed scenic views of Lovejoy Pond and the enthusiasm of Albion Elementary 6th grade volunteers along the 3.14 mile Pi Run course. Age group and random winners received pies donated by 6th grade families. Race director Julie Millard hopes to make the run an annual event, with proceeds to benefit the class's end-of-year trip to Boston.
